Dr. Robert Dooley, Dean, Dr. Michael Jones, Associate Dean, and Dr. Kathleen K. Wheatley, Department Head of Management of Gary W. Rollins College of Business, as well as Mr. Takeo Suzuki, Executive Director of Center for Global Education of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the U.S., visited Sanda University on November 20, 2019. Ms. Li Li, Assistant to the President and Director of International Exchange & Cooperation Office, Mr. Jianguo Wu, Associate Dean, and Ms. Yi Huang, Assistant to the Dean of Shengxiang School of Business, and Ms. Wei Ju, Assistant to the director, International Exchange & Cooperation Office of Sanda, also attended the meeting.
The American delegation visited Shengxiang School of Business Building, Jin Mi Feng Student Practice Training Base, Comprehensive Building and other campus and teaching-learning facilities. They were very impressed by the beautiful campus of Sanda and spoke highly of the investment in the institutional teaching-learning and practical training facilities for students.
The two institutions conducted a meeting after visiting the campus. Ms. Li Li and Mr. Takeo Suzukibriefed each other on the basic situation of their own institutions and conducted in-depth discussions on the possible cooperation between the two sides in terms of summer camp program, dual-degree program, Master’s Degree program, the introduction of curriculum and courses, faculty training and others. The two sides initially reached an intention to cooperate with the student summer program as a starting point and to implement other in-depth cooperation as soon as possible.
